2008 Jars of Clay Ministries Women’s Conference

Are you going through the change?
No, this isn’t a politically incorrect question about midlife crises, New Year’s resolutions or hormonal fluctuations. Rather, it’s the same question asked by Christian contemporary recording artist Steven Curtis Chapman in the lyrics of his song:
“‘Cause if God’s Spirit lives inside of me, yeah/ I’m gonna have the difference/ I’m gonna have the grace/ I’m gonna have forgiveness/ I’m gonna live a life that’s showing/ I’m undergoing the change. What about the change/ What about the difference/ What about the grace/ What about forgiveness/ I want to live a life that’s showing/ I’m undergoing the change” (“Change” by Steven Curtis Chapman, 1999 Speechless album)

The Apostle Paul calls this change being transformed.  “Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.”  (Romans 12:2-3)   
Spiritual transformation and inspiration is what the 2008 Jars of Clay Ministries Women’s Conference is all about!  Jars of Clay Ministries (JOCM) is a nonprofit “support system” founded to help outreach-minded laywomen confidently share their personal faith in whatever life circumstances the Lord has placed them.  As believers, we recognize that the mission field is where we live, work, play and interact with others. We can bring life-changing hope, one person at a time by sharing God’s timeless truth with words and the witness of loving lives.
